CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION NOMINEES.
TO Tttß IDITOB or "Tint PRK39." Sir,—The Socialists have opened their campaign, and under th© guiso of Lftbour are certain to work hard in order to collar the votes of the working classes at tho approaching municipal election, but there is a large section of the workers -who, under no circumstances, will vote Labour, simply because of the fact that the Laoour candidates are Bailing under a flag which has only been adopted as a matter of expediency. Genuine Labour will never submit to the dictation of the Socialistic clique who are using the name of Labour, for the advancement of their Socialistic aimß, and those gentlemen who are running under .tlhe Citizens'. Association ticket- wxli secure many votes from such or the workers as desire that the direction of the city's affairs should be committed to the care of men of proved business ability. In order that the votes of these thinking workers should bo used intelligently, some indication of tlhe views of the nominees of the_ Citiaens' Association should be given without delay. If public meetings are not favoured by these gentlemen, the columns_ of the daily papers provide an opportunity for their enlightening the electors as to the grounds on whicttx ihey appeal for ' support,—Yours, etc., , A WAKING MAN.
