Correspondence was dealt with from the Minister and District Superintendent 'of Agriculture authorising tho chairman to approve of prosecutions. The Audit Inspector wrote asking- what clops badbeen' token regarding- the outstanding, rates. Tiio secretary wa% instructed to reply that a number of accounts had been handed to the solicitors to sue for. The icports of the" inspectors were read and discussed. The secretary reported that £363 On lOd had been received during tho past quarter. It was decided, on the motion 'of Messrs J; C. C. a-nd R. Gebbie, (to ask tho Minister of Agriculture* to approve of Mr H. A. Nutt, the newly-elected chairman, consenting to prosecutions in place of Mr H. T. Chapman.
