AMBULANCE FIELD DAY.

The Christchurch division of the St. -John Ambulance Brigade* held their first "field <Jsty" since the beginning of tho war atj/the North Park on Saturday. The revival oft this form of practice has un important bearing on brigade matters, aa a "field day" is recognised as the best preparation members •can have both for ordinary public duty and for the possibility of an extensive accident; Saturday's manoeuvres were directed by Msjor. Here tho injured were prepared for transport to the hospital \Yhich was staffed by tho Christ-, church Jvursing Division, under the direction of Corpa Superintendent H. G. Epddinott. Major th'ay eaid that generally the yonk was very satisfactory. Tho most efficient unit was; the Ctrfetchurch Ambulance Division, whoso work, both in transport and at tho explosion deecrved special commendation. ■•
