LABOUR TROUBLES.
P.LA.T. WORKS CLOSED. . (By Cablo—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received April 7th, 7.55 p.m.) ROME, April 7. The F.I.A.T. works at Turin have closed down, and 13,000 workers have been dismissed owing to their refusal to submit to partial dismissals: DUTCH COAL MINERS. AMSTERDAM, April 6. The Coal Commission is discussing wage reductions. The miners are demanding State aid to maintain the present rates. The owners now offer a continuance of the present wages during Ap il, with a 6 per cent, reduction next month.
