Ten thousand jutd workers in Calcutta struck because the management refused to dismiss a-man who disapproved of the workers' propaganda. Gandhi, the non-co-operation leader, has issued a manifesto approving of a week of mourning, including two fasting days, and special prayers accompanied "by efforts to stagnate business throughout India with a view to securing redress of the allaged Khalifat and Punjaub wrongs. ' TBIBESMEN STERNLY PUNISHED. (Beater's Telegrams.) (Received April 7th, 7.30 n.m.) DELHI, April 6. In view of the renewal of" the sniping of convoys by tribesmen in the Wana and Mahsud areas, aircraft bombed Making, the capital of Mahsud, at tho end. of last month, causing heavy loss and damage to property, and the dispersal of the tribesmen. Making is now entirely evacuated'.
