CLAIM FOR REQUISITIONED. SHIPPING. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N„iS. Cabla Association.) (Received April 6th, 9.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 5. It is understood that Mr C. Hughes, Secretary of State, has suggested to 'Norway that her claims against the United States for ships requisitioned during the war should be arbitrated upon by the permanent Court at The Hague. The United States Shipping Board awarded Norway some fourteen million dollars, which Norway refused, claiming that allowance should be made for tho increased price of tonnage during the war.
