SPRINGSTON. • The quarterly meeting of the Springston Methodist Church was held on fcaturday,_ the Rcv. J. Harris presiding. Church anmversary Collections were granted during the coming quarter to Templeton -Weedons, EUesniere and Broad fields. A letter was received from tho foreign missionary »ecre.ary stating that tho date- on which the effort would be made would be forwarded at an TaX date- Tb ß iome mis6lon e ?°l "fTthe sum of £lO. Mr J. Cross tendered his an circuit steward. A motion was passed regretting that ho was leaving tho district, and thanking Jura for his valuable work for the Church. It was decided to place on record appreciation of the good work done ij. the circuit by tho Rev. J. Hams The balance-sheet, owing to tho special harvest thanksgiving effort, showed «■ substantial credit. Tho. members were entertained to afternoon tea. at the parsonage.
