A committee was formed at a public meeting fo endeavour to raise £500(1 to establish a solar radiation observing station at Riverview. _ The stop taken will link up a world-wide scheme to have the sun under observation throughout the 2-1 hours, and enable meteorological forecasts to be made 10 days ahead.
