The tennis championships v in connexion with tho New Zealand University tournament were continued on the Canterbury College courts yesterday, in good weather. Some good play ra witnessed, and all the championships, with the exception of the combined doubles, were decided, the winners being: . , Auckland University College, ladies singles and men's doubles. A Bohemian evening was spent by all the people interested in the tournament last evening. of all the visiting universities were present, and their spokesmen nil made appreciative references to the way they had been treated in Christchurch. A "Jazz" evening wns celebrated, music, being supplied by members of Mr "Willyams's band. An impromptu musical programme was gone through, after vrliich the assembly adjourned to the "Rendezvous" for supper. The whole company returned to the- Starland floor and indulged in dancing .until an early hour this morning.
