It transpires that tlio arms and-am-munition discovered in Charles street, Dublin, were intended for an ambush of Crown forces en route to Mountjoy prison. If it had succeeded, the prison would have been attacked with a view of releasing the Sinn Fein prisoners. The consignment of arms and ammunition was landed on the KotO' coast last week in fish barrels, and desSatched to a well-known address m Dublin, to disarm suspicion. A Sinn Fein agent duly intercepts tho consignment before its delivery. An important raid was mado in Molcsworth street, Dublin, the Crown forces discovering the headquarters of the Sinn Fein propaganda department, and molting the largest capture of seditious literature to date, along with an elaborate equipment of typewriters and duplicators. Many of the documents were addressed to Sinn Fein agents in France, Spain, and Italy. Sovoral tona of documents and literature wero seized. Armed men attacked a military motor lorry in Dublin. Three of the attackers wero shot down. Ono soldier was wounded. . . There wore forty Sinn Fein incendiary farm fires in the-Newcastle district on Saturday nigh*.
