ARMISTICE DAY.
OBSERVANCE IN OHKISTCHURCH. For tTie commemnration of Armistice Day to-morrow morning at 11 all the trams will cease running for the two minutes prescribed, and all vehicular traffic in the city will stop. Pedestrians likewise will stand still and devote the two minutes to silent thought. In factories, etc., all labour will be suspended for the same period. ' Flags hoisted in honour of the arrival of his Excellency the Governor-General will be • lowered for the two minutes, and will be hoisted again after tho '"Last Post" is sounded. This call will ho' played at 11.2 a.m. by twelve buglers, six 'from Christ's College and six from the Bovs' High School, who will bo stationed at the western entrance of the Cathedral. • The Mayor will make a fe.w remarks explaining the occasion for the celebration. .
