Tho Chancellor of the University, Doctor Rovsing, delivered an address in which he paid the hiphest tributes to Sir E. Rutherford's f-eieuti'ie work, which, he said, was of the utmost importance to the whole world. The Physical Society of Denmark, whose guest Sir E. Rutherford was, gave a beni quel in his honour, which was attended ; by many distinguished wnentists. !
