Ho liad broKon into six Auckland warehouses and stolen petty cash, in one instance £60, in addition to cheques and promissory notes for £230, which ho did not attempt to cash. He had committed two burglaries in <rae night. Ho was found on the premises of the Totara Timber Company when tlio workmen arrived m tho morning, and was arrested.
