LAWN TENNIS.
LONDON, June 8. Col. R. F. Kingscote made his first appearance since his Australian tour in the Kent Lawn Tennis Championships, in which lis defeated Major Sterling C-0, 6-1. His service has improved since he was last seen in England. His strokes are freer and his forehand drives attractive. Kingscote meets !•'. M. B. Fisher in the third round.
