Senator Hiram Johnson continues to be the favourite Republican nomination for President. Other possibilities include Mr Charles Evans Hughes, General Leonard Wood, Governor Lowden, of Illinois, Senators Philander C. Knox, M. Poindexter, Butler, and W. G.Harding. The Democrats will hold their Convention at San Francisco. . Mr McAdoo is an undeniable favourite, though. Mr Hoover may prove a dark horse. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.)
