DISPUTES EEFEEEED TO PRIME MINISTEE. (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TKMJCIUM.) AUCKLAND-, June 9. Tlicro have - been disputes regarding tho interpretation of tlie coal mines agreement at certain of the smaller mines, including Taratu, Kiripaka, and Nightcaps. The .Miners' Federation threatens drastic action within seven days if the i>oints in dispute are not conceded. The Mincovncrs' Federation suggests reference to the Disputes Committees. Mr Mnsscy informed a reporter that both parties had represented the position to him, and had asked him, as chairman of the recent conference, to take action. He had asked the mineowners and representatives of the union to meet him in "Wellington early next week, if possible. As the matters in dispute were net particularly serious, lio expected that there would bo no great difficulty in bringing the parties into line with the position arrived at by the conference. TAJSATU MEN TO ItESUMS -WORK. (i'KfcSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, June 9. The Taratu coal miners "who have been on strike met this afternoon to consider telegrams from the Prime Minister and the secretary of the Miners' Federation, both of which urged the men to retprn to work and submit the dispute to the National-Disputes Committee, which ivill meet early next week in Wellington. It was decided#to adopt this coursc. The shift men will start work at onc-c, and the miners and all oilier hands on Monday.
