The Chicago correspondent of the "New York Times" says De Valcra and Walsh have finished a tentative draft of the plank they will ask the Committee on Resolutions to incorporate in the Republican platform. The understanding among the leaders is that in the event of the committee refusing to adont the draft they will ask that a plank expressirg sympathy with the Irish people be incorporated.
