KNIGHTS OF THE BATH.
* I CEREMONY OP INSTALLATION. j LONDON, May 18. The ceremony of the installation of the Knights of the Order of the Bath, which has not been held since 1913, was performed at Westminster Abbey to-day. It was singularly beautiful and "impressive. An imposing procession of about CO Knights of the Grand Cross of tho Bath, including General Rawlinson, Admiral Jeilicoe, Admiral Wemyss, Sir Erie Geddes, Admiral Bcatty, and Field-Marshal Haig, wearing tho magnificent crimson robes of the Ordei;,. followed by the Ihikd of Connaught as Grand Master, and finally by the King, made its way to Henry Vll.'s chapel, where the elaborate private ceremonial of installation was carried out.
The new knights '■were then conducted to their stalls and seated under their own banners. The oaths were administered, and the ccremony in the chapel endecf by knights drawing their swords and holding them by the blade before the altar. The procession then returned to the Abbey, and the proceedings concluded with the Te Deura, nn anthem, and the hymn "For All the Saints."
