WEDDINGS.

HAMILTON—IiICKERBY. On Thursday, at St. Paul's Church, Pananui. a very pretty choral wedding took pi nee. the pax-ties being Miss Lean Uickerby. second daughter of Mr Robert ltickerby, of iJo Tomes road, Papauui, to Mr"Reginald H. Hamilton. The church was nk-ety decorated with palms by friends, ana was well filled with guests. The bride looked charming in a gown of ivory satin and georgette, trimmed with silk fringe and jKvrls, and the usual veil and orange blossoms. Mr H. Russell was best man. and the bridesmaids were Miss Mabel Rickerby, sister of the bride, and Miss Eva Wilson, cousin of the bride. The Rev. W. K. Orbell officiated. After the 'wedding a reception w.is held at 26 Tomes road, Papanui, and in tho evening a dance was held at St. Paul's schoolroom, Papanui. Mr and Mrs Hamilton were the recipients of a number of useful and valuable presents. Later, Mr and 3lrs ii a mil ton left for Tmiaru, on their honeymoon.

A CHEESY DANCE,

c.r.c. amatetjr athletic club. A cheery little dance was given last evening by the Canterbury University Colleg° Amateur Athletic Club.
