WHEAT QUESTION.
CONFERENCE THIS DAY WEEK.
Tho president of the North Canterbury Farmers' Union (Mr D. Jones, M.P.), received a telegram from the Prime Minister yesterday, stating that ho (Mr Massey) would meet tho wheatgrowers' representatives in Provincial Council Chambers, on Saturday next, January 17th, at 11 a.m., when the whole question will be thoroughly discusscd.
