♦ (PBESS ASSOCIATION TKLECRAM.) WANGANUI, January 8. At a meeting of the Wan garni i branch of tho New Zealand Labour Party held to-night, it was resolved: "That tho present electoral system is obsolete, and Parliament is not representative of tho people, and this branch calls upon Mr Massey to reform the present svstom by substituting proportional representation, and immediately thereafter making an appeal to the" country in order to rectify the present false position of government of a democratic country by a minority vote.''
