The new official priccs includo: — Flour 7jd per lb, bread CJd, potatoes 2Jd. Potatoes aro 5n short supply, and ft full ration is unavailable and supplies may be exhausted in March. Butter is 12s 4d per lb, representing a rise of 100 per cent.; margarine Gs sd, and ment 4s 3d, tho ration being half a pound weekly. There is an acute shortage of coal, and the majority of the houses seem to be without coal. Briquettes are soiling at 14os per ton.
