TAT7M ARUNUI, January 3. Thomas Crisp, single. a soldier, a native of Kngland, was killed on tho railway lino between Ivnkahi and Onanco by the north-bound express on New Year's Eve. I>cccascd owned a returned soldier's farm, and was making his way homo from lvakalii along tho line when ho was overtaken suddenly liy the express and killed instantly. The body was badlv mutilated. MASTETCTON, Januaiy- 4. A motor fatality is reported to havo occurred on the road between Mount Holdsworth and Carterton Details are meagre, but a car driven by a man named Hayes is said to have overturned, Mrs Hayes being killed outright. TDI.VR.U, January 4. A snicido is reported from Woodbury where Caiford Matthew Bunion, aged GO years, a well-to-do resident, was found de.id in some bush, with a revolver bullet wound in tho right temple and a revolver beside him. Ho had been under a doctor for a nervous complaint. ITo was missed from his home on .Saturday iftornoon, and a search party wont out this morning and discovered tho corpse. Ho leaves a widow and grown-tip family of three.
