A feature of tho Spartacist trouble at Wilhelmshaven is a counter-strike of physicians and pharmacists, who have refused to work until the terror is ended. A SPARTACIST DEFEAT. (Received February 2nd, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, January 30. A Copenhagen message states that the Spartacists at Cuxhaven and Wilhelmrshaven have surrendered. A eta to of seigo was declared at Wilhelmshaven, and the Spartacists declared Wilhelmshaven an independent Republic on January 27th, but the people declared a general strike, and demanded the arrest of tho Workmen's, Soldiers', and Sailors' Councils. Tho Spartacists agreed to negotiate, but entored the Reich Bank and removed two million marks to the barracks. Street fighting followed, in which the Spartacists were compelled to surrender. (Received February 2nd, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 30. Tile United Press Berlin correspondent states that more than twenty thousand volunteers have left for the Eastern front in order to oppose the Polish invasion, which is now approaching the province of Brandenburg.
