The Ministry of Shipping has apportioned Australia and New Zealand jointly 2,500,(XX) cubic foot of refrigerated space for February, 3,500,000 for March, 5,300,000 for April, and, in addition, 770,000 tons of general cargo. The reduced Australasiah freights remain in forco until tho end of Juno. AMERICAN RATES REDUCED. (Received February 2nd, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 31. The United States Shipping Board has reduced, by one-half, occan freight rates to Australia, South Africa, and the Orient.
