ROUMANIA.
REVOLT OF PEASANTS. (By Cable.—Preas Association.—Copyrigki.) (Renter's Telegrama.) (Received January 30th, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, January 29. Vienna advices state that there is a peasant revolution in Roumania. A systematic rising occurred simultaneously at all villages on January 2oth. Returning armed soldiers are at the head of the insurgents, who forced their way into the towns, and bloody encounters with the regular troops followed. The fighting at Bucharest continued throughout the day of tie 25th. The soldiers used machine-guns, and killed considerable numbers. The Social democratic Parly joined the revolu-
