BOLSHEVISM.

TO TOE EDITOR OF "THE TRESS." Sir,—You have devoted numerous editorials to Bolshevism. Tn my opinion. it is a "blight -upon Society, just as syphilis is. AVe often declare Nature cruel, "but we cannot accuse her of lack !of methods. There is undoubtedly a moral force a_t work in Nature, as well as the physical force. Society must modify its system in sympathy with these forces, and Bolshevism will die a natural death. During the war mutual trust and honest trading wore not always in evidence, and the governing classes did rot prove faultless. They are looked to for the standard, and if a disregard is shown for the higher virtues, the confidence reposed in them is sure to be weakened. Nature is extremely concerned about, the preservation of vigorous life, but she is not concerned about greed of gold. Wealth is not an evil, for it mostly represents industry, selfcontrol, and other high virtues," but it also represents some things I need not mention. If society adjusts itself to higher principles, and the governing classes are true to their responsibilities, the scourge of Bolshevism will soon disappear. One thing assured", the sword, unless on the side of truth, cannot win in the long run, for Nature will not be sit^e-tracked. One word in conclusion. The process of construction is moro pleasant and profitable than the process of destruction.—Yours, etc.: WAGE-EARNER,
