TRENTHAM MEETING,
The Dominion Rifle Association's matins will commence at Trentham on March 11th and the programme (subject to tho approval' of the General Officer Commanding) will bo as follows: —
_ Service matches, compulsory to all entrantsfour matches; entrar.ee- fees, 2a 6d cadi •' prize list, £50 each; f-rvice championship prize list, £o0; total, JS2SO in prises Championship (series, 300 yards 'to £03 yards. Opening match and six match<w counting for belt; entrance fee, S3 each matcn prize list, £75 per match; Kintr's Prize, final fifty, 80!) yards; £148 prise lift Trentham aggregate, £S0 in prizes and gold modal for gratia aggregate. Champion Teams' Match, 5 mon' a-sid»-7 prizes, £50. ' Total entrance fees £2 7s 6d. ar.d 20s eami> fee for rations and camp equipment. To'-I cost *o competitor, £3 7s 6d. Priz * amounting to £1023 in cash one shield, five cups, three gold medals' pedals, and three bronze medal?' limes and ammunition will be issued free' also two blankets, a mattress, and oroof sheet. Only rifle as israed on from ordnance store can bo used. Rifles" a y A 1914 pattern eme as on issue to soldiers of (he British Empire., Tho Tange will be open for practice on Monaay, March 10th. Travelling railway warrants to and from Trenthnm will be issued free by ths Defence Department. The meeting wi!! continue for five daye.
