The Rod Cross Society appeals earnest- j ly for Honey, Black Currant Jam, and Bottled Fruit; also Fruit for Jam alii through the Summer. The jam can be mado in the Red Cross Kitchcn. These comforts arc all urgently needed for Local Hospitals. Tho Society rlso urgently appeals to the public for gifts of ripe fruit and tomatoes for 1170 wounded men ?r----riving at Lyttelton in the Briton cn Tuesday morning, and who will be unable to leave the ship. Gifts should be left at the Red Cross Comforts Department on Monday morning, January 27th. It is urgently requested that all members of the Girls' Bandage Brigade will attend on Monday evening next at the Red Cross Depot at the usual hour. 1
