AUSTRALIAN STATISTICS. WAJJ PENSIONS OVER £4,000,000 A YiiAK. Statistics relating to pensions ""I maternity allowances granted up to the end, of ' last year were issued by the Commonwealth Treasury recently. The total number of war pensions granted, as at December 27th, was 147,146, in respect of which tho. annual liability was £4,436,196.
