I The proclamation of martial law in' Barcelona was necessitated by the discovery of a secret organisation, comprising two hundred thousand workmen. Many leaders of the .new revolutionary organisation "were arrested. It is believed that prompt measures will' be taken to prevent a serious outbreak, and a possible extension of the revolution throughout the country. !
