AUCKLAND, January 21
One of the finest games in the Dominion Lou-ling tournament was played to-day between Rcsemond and Hows on (Gisborne) and McClaren and Maxwell "Walker (Ponsonby) in the final of the Pairs Championship. The excitement at tho final head was intense. Heweon drew tho shot with his last bowl when his opponents lay three. There was some suspense when Walker, who had another bowl, elected to drive, but 1» ran wide after glancing the bowl in front of kitty, and the game ended—Gisborne 16 Poneonby 14.
