SURRENDER OF ANTWERP.
INQUIRY DEMANDED. (By Cable.—Pieea Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.&. Cn-blo Auociition.J PARIS, January 14. Belgian newspapers are demanding a Parliamentary inquiry . regarding the surrender of the city of Antwerp by the civil authorities, and. especially as to the conduct of M. Franck, now Minister for the Colonies. Marshal Foch and Sir Douglas Haig are arranging for the withdrawal of the British and French troops from Belgium for the purpose of relieving the economic crisis and the high cost of living.
