At tho Institute of Architects' Conference, Mr Seager moved a resolution approving of a proposal tor a national memorial to consist of a road from Auckland to Bluff in honour of fallon soldiers, and asking the Town Planning Associations in each district to co-operate. , The motion was ruled out of order, as no notice had been given, but it was later decided to forward it to the branches of the Institute and request their favourable consideration.
