The following is the Dominion meteorologist's forecast, issued at Wellington at 4 p.m. yesterday:— Present indications are for 'cloudy, unsettled weather, with rain -probable generally, and strong squally winds, backing to southerly shortly in the fcToutTi. The barometer is unsteady, falling in the North but rising in the South soon.
