ACCIDENTALLY POISONED.
CHRISTCHURCH LADY DIES AT SEA. A wireless message received by her relatives in Christchurcli conveys the sad intelligence that Miss Ingsay Marguerite (Pipi) Isbister died on tho Ri.M.S. Moana at sea on Friday, January 3rd, as a result of being accidentally poisoned. The Moana's doctor, Dr Grimm, was also a victim. So far Miss Isbjster's relatives have no further details of the tragedy. The Moana is due to arrive at Wellington from ban Francisco at tho end of this week. Miss Isbister was on her way back w> New Zealand after an extensive tour of California. While she was in America she studied dancing in various centres, one of her tutors being the famous "Ruth St. Denis, known as "Tho Butterfly of the East," who counted Miss Isbister among her mosfc promising pupils. Mis 3 Isbister, who was the third daughter of the late Mr James and Mrs Isbister, was in her 20th year. She was educated at Meriden College, and prior "10 leaving for America assisted Miss Cox with her dancing classes. Hor untimely death will cause much grief to those who admired her for her reserved and gentle disposition, and much sympathy is felt for her sorrowing relatives.
