The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club flew off a. race from Napier, the winner be.ing -bD. Wilson's No. 194, which flew the distance of 367 miles 35 yards air line in 21hr» 23mm 45eecy with a velocity of 503 minute. F. Kingsfords Onoto was «*»£ d (velocity 470 yards per minute), and iJarter Bros.' Baldie third (velocity 441 minute). F. D. Wilson took the special prize for the race und Ba^ r >- special prize for best average in Napiei: owes. The Club also flew off a race from Waiouru, E. Fuchs's Queen of Clubs being the winner of first and special prizes, flying of 340 miles 569 yards air line in 16hre 5-mm 48sec, with a velocity of 591 yards per minute. F. Kingsford*s Black Cress was second (velocity 515 yards per minute). and Woodhouse Bros.' Scotland third (yeWy 486 yards per minute). E. Fuchs wins the average fox Waiouru raco£.
