MEETIXG OF COMMITTEK. The Ivavy ILeague War Fund Appeal Committee mei last night, Mr Alex. Boyle preeiding. Satisfactory reports were received from the various districts. The Teport of the. deputation which Trailed on the Spreydon Borough Council was received. It was resolved ihat a circular letter be eont to all school®, reminding them of the appeal, and notifying them thH th«* time for receiving their contributions had been extended to February 7th. ~"A deputation was appointed to wait on the Sumner Borough Council next Monday. A vote of thanks waa accorded the Canterbury Caledonian Society's concert party which offered its cervices in any way to assist the fund.
