HOME AGAIN.
ARRIVAL OP TAHITI. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, January 12. The troopship Tahiti, with 950 soldiers, arrived at Port Chalmers at daylight. The vessel had a fine voyage, with the exception of two or three days after leaving Liverpool. The men had a very warm welcome at Panama, and are greatly indebted ' to the people there for- their kindness. During the voyage physical training was conducted with excellent results. The voyage occupied 40 days. The men for places north and south of Dunedin leave to-morrow. A small draft of about fifty South Island soldiers—about half of whom were for Canterbury—arrived from the North by the ferry steamer yesterday morning. As usual the members of the Canterbury Automobile Association turned out with their cars and transported the men to their destinations. This evening, at about 7.80, a large draft of men is expected to arrive by special train from the South, and the sccrqtary of the Automobile Association asks members to attend in force.
