TESTE RDA.Y'S LIST. (press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, January- 10. , The following casualty list (No. 1038) was issued to-day:— AUCKLAND DISTRICT. DIED OP SICKNESS IN NEW ZEALAND. Senior, C. H. A:, Captain (C. A. Senior, Onehunga) REpATRIAT ED. Previously reported prisoner of f>r now reported repatriated.— McLaren, T. M. (Mrs McLaren, Sydney, w.) Mr and Mrs J. Macfariane, 399 Gloucester street, Linwood, have been advised that their eldest son, Irooper George Macfariane, >ill arrive m the Dominion, 'very shortly. He left 2sq\v Zealand with the 10th Reinforcements, and has been serving with the Canterbury Mounted Rifles in Palestine ever since. His younger brother, Rifleman J A. Macfariane, and a brother-in-law, Sapper A. D. Cooper, are serving in France. V News has been received of the death, while a prisoner of war in Germany, of Private Benjamin Arthur Hawkins, son of Mr H. Hawkins, Kauaeranga, Thames, and grandson of the late Mr n. Hawkins, of Lyttelton. The deceased, who left with the 32nd Reinforcements and was drafted to the Entrenching Battalion, was taken prisoner in April last.
