NAVY LEAGUE WAR FUND APPEAL.
YOUR GAIN. THEIR LOSS. I>id you ever stop to think what Britain's maritime supremacy cost? It has cost yon nothing—but the war is won, and, you are thankful. Snug hore in New Zealand you share in all the prosperity of a producing country. But think of the widows, orphans, and other dependants of the men who have cheerfully gone down to watery graves to preserve Britain's Naval Supremacy. Think what it has cost them. Then think what yoo owe to them for the sake of those who have gone. Then stop thinking, and ACT. GIVE your money. They gave far more. Donations sent to the office of tho Navy League, 119 Worcester street, Christchurch, will bo gratefully acknowledged.
Geraldine County Council contributed £150, of which £75 was passed through Temuka branch of Navy Leaguo, and £75, through Geraldine Home and Empire League. 1
