RESTRICTIVE REGULATIONS GAZETTED. (KOSSS ASSOCIATION TZLKCBiIf.) "WELLINGTON, January 10. Tho Slaughtering and Inspection Amendment Act of last year was passed for tho purpose of placing chocks on tho operations of tho Meat Trust. Regulations under the Act were gazetted last night. Thoy sot out tho form of tho meat export licenses, which will have a currenev of one year, unless previously revoked, and will bo issued on the following conditions:— (a) That the lieenseo will at nil times during tho currency of the license eupplv to tho Minister of Agriculture "all such information as the Minister shall require regarding tho business in respect, of which tho license is in force, and will, if go required by the Minister, causo any information so supplied to bo verified by a statutory declaration. (b) That the licensee will at all times during tho currency of the license, when so required by tho Minister of Agriculture, afford to tho Minister or to an office of the Now Zealand Government appointed by him in that behalf, reasonablo facilities for examining all books, correspondence, or other documents rolating to tho said business.
