Tho Archangel correspondent of the "Morning Post" sends a sensational story that the ex-Czar is not dead. The Grand Duke Cyril,. who makes tho statement, says he received a letter last November from Princess Tatiana, the cx-Czar's daughter, saying that the ex-Emperor, the ex-Empresd, and their daughters are still alive. The Bolshevist officer who was ordered to carry out the death sentence told the ex-Emperor that "it is a matter of indifference to who is shot. I have "only to produce the corpse. A bullet in the head would make the victim's identification impossible." Count T—— offered to sacrifice hiitoself. The ; ox-Czar protested, but the Count overruled him. Tho ex-Czar escaped, but his whereabouts is unknown.
