ADVANCEMENT OF SOUTHLAND.
(FEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) iNVERCARGILL, January 9. A meeting of representatives of Southland League to-day adopted the League's pfoposals for proceeding forthwith with the Monowai hydro-electric power scheme, advanced by the League. It was resolved to take steps,to form a Southland power district, under the Electric Power Boards Act. The League to advertise Southland over the whole world in its advancement campaign.
