CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
(press association teeegram.) WELLINGTON. January ft. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Thomas Albrecht was charged with manslaughter in connexion with the death of his mother. Evidence was given to the effect that during a quarrel, accused struck his mother who afterwards died. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial.
