John Joseph Smith, charged with tho theft of a hut, valued at 15e, the property of tho New Zealand. Shipping Co., waa sentenced to ono month's imprisonment. DAEFIELD.. (Before Messrs ±v. I'eid and G. T. Hobertson, .J.P.'s.). In the following civil cases judgment wart given for pluintiff with costs:—J. Brownleo v. Henry Hunim, £12; same v. Ben Hurnm, £1 Is Id; same v. Chas. Rich, £13 6a sd; same v. Henry Roberts, £15 Is sd; same v. Geo. I'obinson, £2 19s 4d; eame v. Samuel Eastgate, £i 8s 3d; G. Cridge and Sons v. Crump, i 5 Gd. Peter Vickery was charged with a breach of his prohibition order. The casa was adjourned to February 7th. A charge against Thoe. Vinccnt Harris oF baing on the Sprinfield railway station while suffering from influenza, was adjourned to February 7th.
