JAPAN'S NAVAL STRENGTH. (Beater's Telegrams.) (Received January 3rd, 1.10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 1. Mr Daniels, Secretary of the Navy, gave the Naval Committee a statement of Japan's strength. She has thirteen battleships (four building), seven battle-cruisers, 10 cruisers, 16 light cruisers (seven projected), 66 destroyers (23 building), 16 submarines (27 building).
