The transport Northern Pacific, carrying 21£0 wounded Americans, grounded at Fire Island. The vessel is not endangered. The Northern Pacific is a triple sqrew steel steamer of 8256 tons, built in 1915 by W. Crump and Co., Philadelphia, for the Great Northern Pacific S.S. Co. Fire Island is in Great South Bay, south of Long Island, in the state of New York. (Australian and N./i. Cable Association.) (Received January 2nd, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 1. The passengers and crew of the Tenadores have landed safely. A cable messago, dated London, December 29th, stated that the American transport Tenadores, bound from New York to Brest, was stranded in the Bay of Biscay.
