The disease is gradually disappearing, and only five cases remain in quarantine. DEATHS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Reuter'fl Telegrams.) (Received January 2nd, 1.40 a.m.) LONDON, December 31. The influenza epidemic haa rapidly declined recently. Approximately there were 90,000 deaths in the United Kingdom in twelve weeks; also 20,000 from pneumonia following influenza.
