40,000 AMERICANS RETURNING. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyrights (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON.' December 30. Britain has released ships to carry homeward 40,000 American troops. It is pointed out that the burden of repatriating Dominion soldiers and returning Chinese coolies is heavy.
